Ask Stockton
To submit requests or complaints to the City of Stockton, call Public Works at (209) 937-8341 or visit Ask Stockton at http://www.stocktongov.com/askstockton. The Ask Stockton app can also be downloaded to android and iPhones. On this site, you can report problems such as abandoned vehicles, cracked sidewalks, fallen trees, etc. directly to public works. The website also has information and links to all of the the city of Stockton offices.

Clean Sweep
The Clean Sweep program is Stockton’s clean up program for residents living in single-family homes, duplexes, or triplexes. Three (3) cubic yards of bulky waste will be collected once a year, from February through October, at no charge. Three cubic yards is the equivalent of 3′ wide x 3′ tall x 9′ long. To schedule a pickup, contact your waste management company. Ever wonder who represents you on the Stockton city council? If you reside in Sherwood Manor on the east side of El Dorado Street, you are in city council district 2, and your representative is Mariela Ponce. If you reside on the west side of El Dorado Street, you are in district 3, and your representative is Michael Blower. You can reach your representative by calling (209) 937-8279. Ava Community Energy
In April 2025, Ava Community Energy became the electrical energy provider for the city of Stockton. Ava is the default provider of electricity generation (the power plants) for all customers (residential, commercial, and municipal) in the communities they serve.
