Sherwood Manor Homes Association (SMHA) Pool is a private, community pool for Sherwood Manor homeowners and residents. It is located in Sherwood Park at 100 West Robinhood Drive between Sherwood Way and Claremont Avenue. The pool opens each year on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and closes on Labor Day.
THE POOL IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR THE 2026 SEASON. WE PLAN TO REOPEN ON MAY 29, 2027. REGULAR POOL MEMBERSHIP IS PAID AS PART OF HOMEOWNERS’ ANNUAL HOA DUES. IF YOU ARE A HOMEOWNER OR RENTER IN SHERWOOD AND THE ANNUAL DUES FOR THE PROPERTY YOU RESIDE IN ARE PAID, YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO SWIM AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. YOU WILL HAVE TO REGISTER BEFORE SWIMMING, SO BE PREPARED TO TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO GET THAT DONE. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A GOVERNMENT ISSUED PICTURE ID, AND, IF YOU ARE RENTER, YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO BRING PROOF OF RESIDENCE SUCH AS A UTILITY BILL.
Pool Management: In 2026, we welcomed Samantha Ewell of Snow Properties to our SMHA team as Pool Manager. Samantha manages all pool operations and can be contacted through Snow Properties at samantha.snowproperties@gmail.com or (209) 406-5663.
Lifeguards Wanted: We will be actively recruiting lifeguards and pool monitors beginning February of 2027. SMHA recognizes the value of our swim staff and believes they should be fairly compensated for keeping our patrons safe. We offer competitive hourly wages, holiday pay, and a hiring bonus. Pool Use Requirements: Annual registration is required prior to swimming. The registration and medical emergency forms can be downloaded from the bottom of this page. Use of the pool is included with annual association assessments for all homeowners and residents of Sherwood Manor; however, payment of annual assessments by homeowners must be current. Annual assessments must be made through Snow Properties and cannot be paid at the pool. All pool patrons, including guests, must follow the pool rules. Pool Hours: For 2026, SMHA regular swim hours were 1:30 pm to 7:45 pm. May 26th through May 29th, all Wednesdays, and all weekdays beginning July 30, swim hours were 4 pm to 7:45 pm. Early closure on weekdays began July 30 to align with local school calendars. The pool was closed during Sherwood Sharks swim team home meets and closed early for the Sharks’ end of season banquet. We expect 2027 hours to be similar. Specific information about the Sharks, including their seasonal calendar, is located on this site under the Sherwood Sharks Swim Team tab.
Seasonal Memberships: Seasonal non-resident guest memberships are available for purchase by those who live outside of Sherwood Manor. Each guest membership includes pool access for up to five household members. For households greater than five, $15.00 will be charged for each additional household member. In 2026, the non-resident guest membership cost for the entire season was $300. Mid-season memberships could be purchased for $150 and provided access from July 13th through the remainder of the season which ended on September 7th. Costs for the 2027 season will be determined in early 2027 and posted on this website. For payment, contact snow properties or see pool management or a lifeguard. Special Events: Special events can be hosted at the pool by all Sherwood Manor HOA residents who meet the pool use requirements and those with seasonal guest membership. Events are held during regular pool hours. Detailed information is included in the special events application which can be downloaded from the link below. Arrangements for special events must be finalized by Snow Properties. Lifeguards and pool monitors do not give final approval for these events.
Swim Lessons: Some of our lifeguards offer swim lessons. Lessons are available before and during regular swim hours but must be scheduled outside of the instructor’s scheduled SHMA work hours. The amount charged for lessons is determined by each individual instructor and paid directly to that instructor. If lessons are scheduled before regular swim hours, any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
